Does the financial crises impact your wedding plans/budget?

Postby WF-Daniel » Mon Jan 04, 2010 8:17 pm

It seems that the financial crises is starting to fade, but the impact can still be felt. Weddings are notoriously expensive and, even though I don't have any statistics at hand, have probably been financed with at least some credit in the past.

How have these tougher times impacted your wedding plans and budget? Are you making compromises or is it "business as usual"?

Hi and nice to see you here!

Yes, you are right! If you shop smartly you can save a lot of money, and one of the best ways is to go for the off season like you said. This goes for everything from wedding invitations, the wedding dress, catering, etc. It's all about supply and demand, and when few couples are getting married the prices naturally drop.

Not really, because planning a wedding requires you to work within a budget. What's important is creativity and resourcefulness.

Wedding is so expensive function for more than other functions. Because If your wedding plan requires to work within a budget. This is very enjoyable, traditional, fun-able and respective function.

Of course wedding plan or budget are different from business budget, so I think it doesn't affect it as long as you planned it earlier.

Not really as long as you already finished budgeting your financial needs for your wedding.
